Swimming

Because the physical demands if swimming a unique and the potential for injuries very specific. We have a preventative and rehabilitative program focused on the shoulder and neck.  Swimmers are subject to repetitive neck and shoulder motions;  if left unaddressed, chronic pain can result.  The goal of preventative care is to introduce strengthening exercises to the shoulder to limit the impact of repetitive motion on non-contractile tissue like ligaments and tendons. On the other hand, the rehabilitation program aims at restoring normal, pain-free range of motion for the patient to swim at their level of expertise.
